‘You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.’ (Winston Churchill)
When I help others in need, I feel happy, I feel fulfilled. People feel that from me and so they gain trust. I learned this from my mother, who always found time to help needy children. I also began by helping abandoned children and families with many kids…for whom so much can be done! I want very much to motivate other people to open their hearts towards others and volunteer. I believe in setting examples, good examples. It is a feeling that is hard to describe, very different from professional fulfillment. It is the reason for which I began to study Psychology while also finishing my Doctorate in Economics.

CLAUDIA MOSCALU, Email: moa_clau@yahoo.com
In her four years in medical school, CLAUDIA-ADRIANA MOSCALU has come to understand that the true success of humanity lies in the capacity to give a new identity to the world we live in and this includes respect and dignity for each human being. She strongly believes in a society where everyone takes responsibility for themselves, their families and the community at large. For these reasons Claudia would like to become more involved in the projects initiated by the Fundatia Daniel Murariu.

ALEXANDRA GIANNAKOPOULOU, Email: alexgianna@hotmail.com
ALEXANDRA is a lifelong world traveler. Born in Canada of English and Greek parents, Alex has lived on several continents. Nonetheless, one of the things that drives her in her pursuit of happiness is dedicating much of her free time to volunteer work. Whether doing it in Asia, Europe or North America, Alex believes that small deeds that touch somebody is a small ripple on a placid lake and only grows larger when more of us pitch in. While her stay in Romania is coming to an end at the end of the year, Alex hopes that she will leave a lasting mark on some of this country’s inhabitants.
