On December 21, 2006 the teachers and staff of the school in Prisacani held a Christmas party for grades I through IV attended by family and friends of the students.
Fundatia Daniel Murariu participated in the event by gathering Christmas presents from various institutions and individuals. We gathered a total of 80 presents(48 nicely wrapped and 32 in simple bags which acted as “reserve supply”), of which 48 were donated to the schoolchildren, 28 to children in the audience (thank God we had plenty extra!) and 4 to community children.
We kindly thank all the donors for their efforts of making the 2006 Christmas a little brighter for these children.
We also kindly thank the principal, Mrs. Mariana Catrina, and the teachers of the Prisacani School: Anica Musteata, Claudiu Nita, Georgiana Nita, Sorina Paduraru and Hareta Vantu.
Last, but not least, many thank yous to the Fundatia Daniel Murariu volunteers:
- Alina (Piti), Cristina Filip, Monica Filip, Crina Gotos, Georgiana (Geo) Popa for helping with shopping for supplies and staying until 2 AM to finish wrapping the presents! Your help was priceless!
